The uOttawa English Debating Society
We provide students with the opportunity to discover and improve their debating and public skills. We use both the British Parliamentary and Canadian Parliamentary formats, hosting meetings bi-weekly. We send teams to tournaments in the Canadian university circuit, as well as to international.
Because of the campus closure due to COVID-19, we have been hosting meetings online using Discord, the link of which is in our insta Bio! We always welcome new members!

The Canadian Association for Research in Regenerative Medicine (CARRM)
Association for Research in Regenerative Medicine (CARRM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the field of regenerative medicine. We accomplish this through two primary venues: 1) funding local research facilities, and 2) spreading awareness about the power of stem cell research and its therapeutic applications.
Through past years we have accomplished this goal through fundraising events and symposiums where experienced researchers are invited to present their research and career paths.
University of Ottawa Pre-Medical Society
UOPMS was formed in response to the absence of an explicit "pre-med" club at the University of Ottawa. It seeks to bring together prospective medical students, while also providing insight and resources, catered to uOttawa students, about the application process to assist students in gaining acceptance at a medical school. The events that UOPMS hope to host include study partner introductions, a gathering with medical students, seminars about medical school's application process and MCAT, and fundraising events.
Connecting Young Minds (CYM)
Connecting Young Minds (CYM) is a bilingual research conference at the University of Ottawa. CYM is the only conference at the university specifically catered to promoting and showcasing the research work of Faculty of Science undergraduate students. The conference offers students the chance to network with their peers and faculty members, paving the way for future collaborations. All proceeds from on-campus fundraiser events and donations will go to support a national charitable organization.
